We provide all purchasers of our products with the following warranties against manufacturing defects in addition to the Australian consumer guarantees:
Voigtlander Cameras, lenses and Accessories.
2 Years free extended Australian Warranty against manufacturing defects.
Covers both parts and labour.
All Heliopan filters are covered by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. If your filter develops any fault due to a manufacturing defect we will repair or replace it. Valid only for filters purchased in Australia from us or one of our resellers. Proof of purchase is required to claim on this warranty.
Sirui Tripods and heads.
All Sirui products are covered by an Extended 6 year AUSTRALIAN warranty against manufacturing defects.
This warranty is only vaild for Sirui products purchased from us direct or one of our stockists / resellers as listed on our website
International purchases are only given a one year warranty direct from that reseller we are unable to offer spare parts or service for product purchased overseas.
Linhof Cameras and Accessories.
Linhof cameras are covered by our own Australian 5 YEAR warranty against manufacturing defects. This is 5 times the standard factory warranty at no extra charge.
All our other new products are covered by a standard 1 year warranty:
General Warranty terms and conditions.
When you purchase any new photographic item from a Mainline Photographics Pty Ltd authorised dealer, you automatically receive an Australian Warranty for the repair or replacement of your photographic equipment in the event of any manufacturing defects for the selected warranty period from the date of purchase.
Proof of purchase must be presented when making any warranty claim.
The Warranty Period begins on the date you purchased the Equipment, as indicated on the purchase receipt. A warranty card is not proof of purchase in the case of any claims.
Mainline Photographics reserves the right to elect whether to repair or replace the Equipment under this warranty. Repair or replacement does not restart the Warranty Period.
This warranty does not cover:
Cleaning or maintenance of the equipment.
Damage to or failure of equipment due to normal use or fair wear and tear or misuse and unauthorised repairs.
Warranty is not transferable and is only valid if the Equipment was purchased in Australia from Mainline Photographics or authorised dealer. If you purchased your equipment overseas, you will need to approach the relevant overseas entity for all support and warranty claims.
Second Hand equipment:
All second hand goods including those sold on consignment are covered by a 3 month warranty.
