Description

The APO-LANTHAR 28mm F2 Aspherical E-mount and Z-mount lenses combine the ultimate in optical
performance and compactness, with overall lengths of 58.8 mm (Sony E-mount) and 60.0 mm (Nikon
Z-mount) from the mount surface, which is the same as the previously released quasi-wide-angle
APO-LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical lens. LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical lens, giving it a tighter,
more compact size. The 12 diaphragm blades are nearly circular and render bokeh from point light
sources and other objects in a straightforward manner.

 

The lens is equipped with electronic contacts which communicate data with the camera body. In addition to Exif information and in body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with camera body features and the latest firmware<1*>, the lens has three types of focusing support functions:

(1) focusing by colour changing of the focus point frame,
(2) focus peaking function , and
(3) focusing with the enlargement button.

A metal bayonet lens hood is included.
