Voigtlander's 10mm lens is the widest rectilinear (non-fisheye) lens in the world! A completely new design for full frame cameras and now in Sony E-mount .
The 10 mm F5.6 Hyper Wide Heliar for full-frame cameras with E-mount covers a phenomenal angle of view of 130 degrees, yet it remains almost distortion free. It delivers crisp images across the frame, and is not prone to diffraction even at an aperture of f/22.
The lens holds 13 lenses in 10 groups inside a finely-built full-metal body, and weights just 375 gr. The minimum focusing distance is 30 cm. Ten aperture blades form a round opening, resulting in a smooth background blur.
This lens can be recommended for filmmakers: The Hyper Wide Heliar comes with our Selective Aperture Control System for stepless aperture adjustments. This makes opening and closing the aperture while filming particularly silent and smooth.
