Description
The MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F/2 Aspherical Z Mount is a large-aperture macro lens compatible with full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z mount. The apochromatic design minimizes axial chromatic aberration of the three primary colours of light to practically zero, resulting in sharp image formation performance from the maximum aperture and rendering excellent image quality from the minimum focusing distance to distant motifs.
Optics are optimized for the image sensors of mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z-mount are implemented. The lens has a full-frame image circle and can be used with both full-frame (Nikon FX format) and APS-C size (Nikon DX format) mirrorless cameras.
This design thoroughly eliminates various aberrations including axial chromatic aberrations and pursues the ultimate performance in terms of resolution and contrast reproducibility.
The lens employs a floating mechanism that independently moves a lens group according to the focus distance to ensure reliable imaging quality. The minimum focus distance is 31cm (reproduction ratio of 1:2) through to infinity.
This lens is equipped with electronic contacts between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body stabilization (3 axes) by combining with a body compatible with communications and the latest firmware, three types of focusing support functions.
Employs a very precisely machined and adjusted all metal helicoid unit, lubricated for smooth focusing operation with just the right amount of torque.
